These Digital Products & Download Terms apply to printable files, sewing patterns, embroidery patterns, drawing references, painting resources, templates, ebooks, instructional materials, digital artwork, workshop materials, and other electronically delivered products offered through ReneeOwens.com.

By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using a digital product from this website, you agree to these terms and to any additional license or product-specific conditions displayed with that item.

Digital Products

Digital products may include:

Printable sewing, embroidery, painting, drawing, and craft patterns
Project instructions and supply lists
Templates, tracing pages, and reference images
Printable journals, worksheets, labels, cards, and organizational materials
Digital books, guides, lessons, and tutorials
Downloadable artwork and decorative printables
Video, audio, or other electronically delivered educational materials
Supplemental materials provided with physical creative kits

Digital product listings will identify the files or access being offered. Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, no physical item will be mailed with a digital purchase.

Product Descriptions

I make reasonable efforts to describe digital products accurately and to display representative previews whenever practical.

Please review the complete product description before purchasing, including:

File types
Page sizes
Included materials
Required software or equipment
Skill level level
Language
Printing requirements
Personal or commercial license limitations

Preview images may be watermarked, cropped, compressed, displayed at reduced resolution, or arranged with physical props that are not included with the purchase.

Digital Delivery

Digital products may be delivered through an immediate download link, customer account, order-confirmation page, secure file service, or another electronic delivery method identified during checkout.

Delivery usually begins after successful payment authorization. Fraud screening, payment review, website maintenance, technical interruptions, or other circumstances may occasionally delay access.

The customer is responsible for providing an accurate email address and maintaining access to any account used to purchase the product.

If a download does not appear, please check your order-confirmation page, customer account, spam or junk folder, and any instructions provided with the purchase before submitting a support request.

Download Limits & Availability

Download links may have time, device, or download-count limitations for security purposes.

Please download purchased files promptly and keep a personal backup. Although I will make reasonable efforts to help customers regain access to legitimate purchases, indefinite hosting, permanent account access, and lifetime replacement of files cannot be guaranteed.

Products may be revised, replaced, or discontinued. Purchasing a product does not guarantee permanent access to every future edition, format, feature, or update.

Technical Requirements

Customers are responsible for confirming that their device, software, printer, internet connection, storage, and other equipment can open and use the listed file format.

Digital products may be offered in formats such as:

PDF
JPG or JPEG
PNG
SVG
ZIP
EPUB
MP3 or MP4
Other formats identified in the product listing

Some compressed files must be extracted before their contents can be opened. Some files may require compatible software that is not included with the purchase.

I cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, operating system, application, cutting machine, embroidery machine, printer, browser, or future software version.

Limited License

Purchasing or downloading a digital product does not transfer copyright or ownership of the product.

Unless the product listing provides a different written license, the purchaser receives a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to download and use the product for the purchaser’s own personal, noncommercial creative use.

All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by Renee Owens or the applicable rights holder.

Permitted Personal Use

Under the standard personal-use license, you may generally:

Download the purchased files to your own devices.
Create reasonable backup copies for your personal records.
Print reasonable quantities for your own personal use.
Use patterns and instructions to create projects for yourself.
Create finished physical items as personal gifts.
Adjust sizing, colors, arrangement, or other project details for your own use.
Ask a professional print shop to print the files solely for your authorized personal use.
Share photographs of your completed physical projects with appropriate credit when practical.

A print shop or service provider used by the purchaser does not receive any independent right to retain, reproduce, sell, distribute, or reuse the files.

Commercial Use

Commercial use is permitted only when the product listing or a separate written license expressly grants commercial rights.

Unless commercial permission is clearly provided, you may not use a digital product to create items for sale, business promotion, client work, paid instruction, subscription materials, commercial printing, or other revenue-generating purposes.

If a small-business or limited commercial license is included, the applicable product page or license document will explain:

What finished products may be sold
Any quantity or production limitations
Whether attribution is required
Whether physical or digital products are permitted
Any prohibited marketplaces, production methods, or uses

A license to sell finished physical items does not include permission to sell, share, transfer, or redistribute the original digital files or substantially similar digital files.

Prohibited Uses

Unless you have received express written permission, you may not:

Share, forward, lend, trade, gift, sublicense, or redistribute the digital files.
Upload the files to file-sharing websites, social groups, online drives, pattern libraries, forums, or shared accounts.
Sell the files in their original, altered, traced, recolored, translated, converted, or reformatted form.
Claim the product, design, instructions, photographs, artwork, or writing as your own.
Remove copyright notices, signatures, watermarks, credits, or other rights-management information.
Use the files to create competing patterns, templates, tutorials, printables, books, courses, kits, or downloadable products.
Use product photographs, preview images, instructions, or listing text to advertise your own products.
Mass-produce products from the files without an applicable commercial license.
Use the files for print-on-demand, manufacturing, dropshipping, or automated product-generation services.
Register the product or any substantially similar material as your copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property.
Use the material in an unlawful, defamatory, hateful, exploitative, deceptive, or harmful manner.

Making alterations to a file does not create ownership of the underlying work or remove these restrictions.

Classrooms, Groups & Paid Instruction

A standard purchase is licensed to one purchaser and is not a classroom, guild, club, group, library, organization, or teaching license.

Teachers, workshop hosts, community groups, and organizations may not distribute copies to students or participants unless the product listing expressly permits group use or an appropriate license has been obtained.

Each participant may be required to purchase an individual copy.

Free community use, charitable projects, library programs, or educational activities may sometimes be accommodated through written permission. Please ask before copying or distributing materials.

Machine Embroidery, Cutting & Specialty Files

When machine embroidery, cutting-machine, or other equipment-specific files are offered, the purchaser is responsible for confirming compatibility with their equipment and software before purchase.

Test stitching, test cutting, calibration, stabilizers, material preparation, needle selection, blade settings, scaling, and other adjustments may be necessary.

Unless expressly described as editable, source files, layered files, native design files, and alternate formats are not included.

Converting a purchased file into another format does not create a new product or grant additional licensing rights.

Printing & Color Variations

Printed colors and dimensions may vary because of differences in monitors, printers, paper, ink, scaling settings, margins, regional paper sizes, and equipment calibration.

Patterns that include a measurement or test square should be printed at the scale specified in the instructions. Customers are responsible for checking the test measurement before cutting fabric or other materials.

Unless the product specifically states otherwise, ordinary differences in screen display or home-printer output are not considered defects.

Patterns, Measurements & Creative Results

Patterns, instructions, templates, and tutorials are prepared in good faith, but individual results will vary according to materials, tools, measurements, printing accuracy, skill, substitutions, and technique.

Please read the complete instructions before cutting, stitching, painting, assembling, or permanently altering materials.

I am not responsible for materials lost because of incorrect printing, inaccurate measurements, unsuitable substitutions, failure to test, user error, equipment problems, or departure from the instructions.

Nothing handmade is entirely without variation, and creative license is always welcome within the limits of the product’s copyright and usage license.

Digital Products Included With Physical Kits

A physical creative kit may include a download, QR code, pattern, video, template, or other digital companion material.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, those digital materials are licensed only to the original kit purchaser or intended kit recipient and may not be copied for other individuals.

Returning a physical kit does not necessarily revoke access already provided to its digital materials. If the digital component has been accessed, its value may affect whether the kit remains eligible for a discretionary refund.

Pricing, Taxes & Payment

Prices are displayed in the currency identified during checkout. Applicable taxes, payment-processing charges, or other required costs will be displayed before payment whenever required.

Customers are responsible for any currency-conversion or international transaction charges imposed by their financial institution.

Access may be withheld or revoked when a payment is declined, reversed, refunded, disputed, or determined to be unauthorized or fraudulent.

Refunds for Digital Products

Because digital products cannot ordinarily be returned after delivery, digital purchases are generally final and nonrefundable once the files have been downloaded, accessed, or delivered.

A refund, replacement, or other correction may be considered when:

A duplicate purchase was made accidentally.
The wrong product was delivered.
A file is corrupted, incomplete, or materially defective.
The product is materially different from its description.
A technical delivery problem cannot be reasonably corrected.
The transaction was unauthorized.
A refund is required by applicable law.

Please contact me before purchasing the same product again. I will first make reasonable efforts to correct the file, restore access, supply the proper download, or provide compatible instructions when appropriate.

Disliking a color, changing your mind, lacking required software, overlooking the stated file format, or deciding not to complete a project does not ordinarily make a correctly delivered digital product defective.

International Consumer Rights

Customers may have mandatory rights under the laws of their country, state, province, or territory. Nothing in these terms is intended to eliminate rights that cannot legally be waived.

Where applicable law provides a cancellation or withdrawal period for digital content, checkout may require the customer’s express consent to immediate digital delivery and acknowledgment that the statutory cancellation right may end once delivery or downloading begins.

Updates & Corrections

I may occasionally correct spelling, formatting, instructions, measurements, links, accessibility, compatibility, or other elements of a digital product.

Minor corrections and improvements do not automatically create a new product or entitle previous purchasers to a refund.

When practical, existing purchasers may be given access to corrected files. Substantially expanded editions, new formats, additional lessons, or redesigned products may be sold separately.

Technical Support

Reasonable support is available for problems involving delivery, missing files, corrupted downloads, or clarification of the included instructions.

Unless expressly included with the product, a purchase does not include:

Individual lessons or private tutoring
Device repair or general computer support
Printer calibration
Software installation or training
Pattern resizing or custom alteration
File conversion
Personalized project design
Unlimited ongoing assistance

I will gladly try to point you in the right direction, but I cannot guarantee support for every third-party device, application, printer, or machine.

Third-Party Materials & Links

A digital product may mention or link to independent software, tools, supplies, books, websites, videos, or other resources.

Third-party products and services are governed by their own terms, licenses, pricing, availability, accessibility, and privacy practices.

ReneeOwens.com does not control third-party services and cannot guarantee that an external resource will remain available or unchanged.

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

Digital products, artwork, writing, patterns, photographs, illustrations, instructions, and other materials purchased or downloaded from ReneeOwens.com may not be uploaded, copied, scraped, compiled, or used to train, fine-tune, evaluate, prompt, supply, or develop artificial intelligence or machine-learning systems without prior written permission.

A purchaser may not use generative tools to create derivative products that reproduce, imitate, reconstruct, or compete with the purchased material.

Copyright & Ownership

Unless expressly stated otherwise, digital products and their contents remain the intellectual property of Renee Owens.

Purchasing access to a file is purchasing permission to use it within the stated license—not ownership of its copyright, design rights, trademarks, or underlying creative content.

License Violations

The license to use a digital product may be suspended or terminated if the purchaser shares, resells, redistributes, reproduces, or otherwise uses the product outside the permitted terms.

Upon termination, the purchaser must stop using the product and remove unauthorized copies from websites, stores, shared accounts, cloud folders, marketplaces, and other distribution locations.

Termination of a license for misuse does not require a refund.

Errors & Availability

I reserve the right to correct product descriptions, pricing mistakes, file-delivery errors, or other inaccuracies.

If a significant error affects a completed purchase and cannot be reasonably corrected, the order may be canceled and refunded.

I may discontinue a digital product or decline a transaction involving suspected fraud, automated purchasing, scraping, unauthorized resale, or license abuse.

No Guaranteed Results

Digital products are provided for creative, educational, and informational purposes. I cannot guarantee a particular artistic, educational, financial, professional, or commercial outcome.

Your results depend upon your materials, equipment, preparation, experience, interpretation, and individual creative decisions.

Changes to These Terms

These Digital Products & Download Terms may be updated as ReneeOwens.com introduces new products, licenses, formats, technologies, delivery services, or selling platforms.

The terms and product-specific license presented at the time of purchase will generally govern that purchase, except where a later change is required by law or gives the purchaser additional rights.
