I’ve also inherited client websites from other hosts, which has given me the opportunity to see what happens when those services are put under the pressure of real traffic, real businesses, and real problems. Some of those experiences were frustrating. Others were genuinely awful. Eventually, I moved my websites to Hostinger. My decision to use Hostinger didn’t come from comparing a few feature lists and choosing whichever company offered the prettiest introductory price. It came from experience. With one provider, I found myself dealing with additional fees seemingly every time something needed to be done after becoming a customer. A client website hosted there was also hacked and its data was erased, making an already stressful situation considerably worse. With another provider, I repeatedly struggled simply to access my own account. When I contacted customer service for help, the experience was so poor that I was actually laughed at rather than helped. Then there was FatCow. The service eventually shut down, and I did not receive the warning or migration guidance I would have expected before needing to move my websites elsewhere. Those experiences taught me that hosting isn’t just about how inexpensive a plan looks on the day you purchase it. What matters is what happens afterward.
What Happens When Your Website Actually Grows?
One of the most frustrating hosting problems I’ve encountered happened with a client website I eventually took over. The site received enough visitors that it regularly reached the bandwidth allowance imposed by its hosting provider. That should have been good news. People were visiting the website. Instead, the website would simply be taken offline when it reached its allowance. The available bandwidth was extremely restrictive for the traffic the site was receiving, and there wasn’t a practical way to simply add the capacity it needed. The site could reach that limit repeatedly. That experience taught me something I’ve never forgotten:
Cheap hosting isn’t cheap when a successful day causes your website to stop working.
I wanted hosting that could grow with the websites I manage rather than punish them for becoming successful.
Hostinger Handled Growth Differently
Eventually, the websites I hosted with Hostinger began growing too. We reached resource limits. But this time, the experience was completely different. Their support team walked me through moving the sites to a higher business hosting tier. And when I made mistakes along the way, they were there to help me work through them.
That is probably the most important reason I continue using Hostinger: I don’t need a hosting company only when everything is working perfectly. I need one when something goes wrong.

Would I Recommend Hostinger?
Yes.
No hosting provider is going to be the perfect choice for every person or every website, and another customer’s experience may be different from mine. But after working with multiple hosting companies and managing websites for myself and others, Hostinger is the service I currently trust with my websites.
