A parent or legal guardian must create accounts, make purchases, submit Mermaid’s Satchel requests, provide shipping information, and communicate on behalf of a minor who is not legally able to do so.

You agree to use ReneeOwens.com in a respectful, lawful manner and only for legitimate personal, informational, creative, or purchasing purposes.

The Mermaid’s Satchel Project

The Mermaid’s Satchel Project is a creative-giving initiative intended to help aspiring artists who may not otherwise have an easy opportunity to begin.

Submitting a request does not guarantee approval, selection, availability, delivery, a particular collection of supplies, or fulfillment by a particular date.

Satchel contents may vary according to:

Available donated and purchased supplies
The intended recipient’s general interests or needs
Age and safety considerations
Shipping restrictions and available funds
Package size and weight
Other practical limitations

Recipient codes, credits, or special account access provided through the project:

Have no cash value
May not be sold or exchanged
May be limited to a specific person, household, product, quantity, or period
May be cancelled if obtained or used fraudulently
Do not guarantee that every displayed item will remain available

The Mermaid’s Satchel Project is separate from the for-profit creative kits that may be offered through the studio.

Creative Kits & Physical Products

ReneeOwens.com may offer watercolor, drawing, embroidery, hand-sewing, and other creative kits, finished artwork, handmade items, supplies, or related physical products.

Product descriptions are prepared in good faith. Because screens, lighting, photography, natural materials, handmade processes, and individual supplies vary, actual colors, textures, dimensions, packaging, and details may differ slightly from photographs or examples.

Handmade and hand-assembled products may contain small variations. These variations are part of their individual character and are not necessarily defects.

Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, props, display items, tools, frames, decorations, and other objects appearing in product photographs are not included.

Please read each product description, ingredient or material list, size, age recommendation, care instruction, safety notice, and included-item list before purchasing.

Digital Products & Downloads

Future digital products may include patterns, project instructions, worksheets, templates, artwork, printable materials, reference documents, lessons, or other downloadable resources.

Unless a product listing expressly grants different rights, purchasing a digital product provides the purchaser with a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only.

Digital products may not be:

Shared with other individuals or accounts
Uploaded to public or private file-sharing services
Resold, sublicensed, or redistributed
Copied into another course, product, pattern, kit, or publication
Used to create competing instructional materials
Presented as the purchaser’s original work
Used to train or populate commercial artificial-intelligence systems or datasets

Prices, Availability & Product Information

Prices, descriptions, quantities, and availability may change without advance notice.

Placing an item in a shopping cart does not reserve it. An order is not accepted until payment has been successfully processed and an order confirmation has been issued.

I reserve the right to correct typographical errors, inaccurate descriptions, technical problems, inventory errors, pricing mistakes, or other unintended errors.

If a material error affects an order, I may contact the customer for instructions or cancel and refund the affected item or order.

Historic prices appearing in archived articles or videos do not guarantee that a product remains available at that price.

Payments

Payments may be processed through PayPal, Stripe, or another payment provider identified during checkout.

By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorize the applicable charges, taxes, and shipping costs displayed during checkout.

Payment processors operate under their own terms and privacy policies. ReneeOwens.com does not intentionally receive or store complete payment-card numbers or payment-account passwords.

Orders may be delayed, declined, cancelled, or refunded if payment cannot be verified or if fraud, unauthorized activity, pricing errors, inventory problems, or policy violations are reasonably suspected.

Shipping, Delivery, Returns & Refunds

Processing and delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless expressly required by law.

Delivery may be affected by carrier delays, weather, holidays, customs, supply interruptions, address errors, emergencies, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional costs resulting from an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address may be the customer’s responsibility where permitted by law.

Returns, replacements, damaged packages, missing items, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy and any product-specific terms displayed before purchase.

Nothing in these terms eliminates consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

Creative Materials & Safety

Painting, drawing, sewing, embroidery, gardening, and craft activities may involve sharp tools, needles, pins, scissors, pigments, paints, adhesives, heat, small components, allergens, choking hazards, or materials requiring ventilation and careful handling.

You are responsible for:

Reading and following manufacturer instructions
Checking ingredients, fibers, pigments, and materials for personal sensitivities
Using appropriate protective equipment and ventilation
Keeping unsuitable materials away from children and pets
Providing responsible adult supervision when needed
Determining whether a project, tool, or material is appropriate for the intended user

A product is not necessarily food-safe, cosmetic-safe, allergy-safe, child-safe, or pet-safe merely because it appears in an article, video, satchel, demonstration, or kit.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise identified, original content created for ReneeOwens.com belongs to Renee Owens and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual-property laws.

This content may include:
